The information on visa requirements in the Netherlands can be found on the official webpage of the Government of the Netherlands. Please bear in mind that citizens from any state of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland only need a valid national identity document or passport to enter Dutch territory. On this website you can check whether you need a visa to attend the conference.

Information for Non EU country visitors

For most non-EU or non-Schengen countries, a visa is required to enter the Netherlands. You can apply for a visa for the Netherlands at the Dutch embassy or consulate in the country where you live. In the country where you live you can also apply at an embassy of another Schengen country where the Netherlands is represented. This visa is valid for a stay of 90 days within a period of 180 days. The visa requirements may vary per country. Please contact the staff at the Dutch embassy of your home country for details. 

If your country of origin is one of the following non-EU countries, your passport allows you to visit the Netherlands for a maximum of 90 days within a a 180 days period: Albania, Andorra, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominica, El Salvador, Georgia, Grenada, Guatemala, Vatican, Honduras, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Kiribati, Macau, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Mexico, Micronesia, Moldavia, Monaco, Montenegro, Nauru, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Northern, Macedonia, Palau, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent, Samoa, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Taiwan, East Timor, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United States, Uruguay, Vanuatu, Venezuela and South Korea.

Please register in time, as long as you follow the visa procedure. The ESP conference does not take any responsibility if you obtain your visa too late.

ESP conference invitation letter

The local organizers of the ESP conference can issue an ESP conference invitation letter. In the registration form, you can select that you are in need of an invitation letter. This letter can only be issued upon payment of your registration fee. Once your conference registration payment is received by ESP, you will be provided with an invitation letter within a two-week notice.

As the registration, payment, and visa application process might be lengthy, we strongly advise you to register for the conference in due time. Please note that when paying via bank transfer, it takes some time before the funds are received to our bank account.
