The Conference Organizing Committee puts great effort into making the conference affordable to a wide audience. We always try to keep the fees as low as possible and take the membership status into account. (As an ESP member you receive a discount on the conference registration fee. This discount is often higher than the annual membership fee, so we strongly encourage you to become a registered ESP member. Read more here). We also give a very high discount to students and low-income countries delegates, as we are aware that it is difficult to afford the participation.

Registration closed on 1 November 2024. If you are a speaker in the program, but missed the chance to register in time, you can contact conference@es-partnership.org to inquire about the possibilites.

It is possible to add the conference dinner or one of the Friday-excursions to your existing registration.

Conference fee

The fee includes entry to all conference sessions, and coffee breaks and lunch for the on-site participants. The conference dinner and excursions are charged separately. Travel costs, accommodation, administration and transaction costs are not included in the above-listed conference fees.

Which fee is applicable to my situation?

• ESP individual members are all those who pay a membership fee to the Ecosystem Services Partnership. ESP members differ from ESP 'friends', who only receive our monthly Update. An important ESP membership benefit is a substantial discount on the ESP Conference fee. We will provide a special discount code for the ESP members soon. Students and low-middle income participants who are ESP members will also receive a special discount code. This discount code should be used in the registration form to select the ESP membership fee. • ESP institutional members are organizations who pay a fee to the Ecosystem Services Partnership. Each organization is entitled to send two representatives to the ESP Conference for the reduced ESP membership fee. We will provide a special discount code for the ESP members soon. This discount code should be used in the registration form to select the ESP membership fee. Please ensure that your membership is valid and paid in full at the time of the conference. If an organization wishes to send different representatives than the ones known to us, or if you lost or haven't received the discount code, please contact us.

• Low-middle income country delegates are citizens of low-income or lower-middle-income-economies according to the World Bank classification of Country groups. If you are part of this participant category you will be asked to provide a copy of your ID upon registration.

• Students must supply a valid student ID and provide a copy of a proof of enrollment of their institution upon registration. Student ID’s are considered valid when they are issued by a university and for one of the following academic years 2023/2024, 2024 or 2024/2025. PhD students are also elligible for the student fee.

• Day registrations are available for each conference day, with a maximum per day. Please indicate on which day you would like to participate upon registration. You can always edit your regsitration at a later point and change/add the exact days you will attend.

  If you would like to create a regsitration for two days, please first select the first day you'd like to attend, then at the end of the regsitration form click 'Submit and add extra person'. Fill in the registration form again selecting hte second day, and then proceed to payment. The system will issue one invoice for the two days.

Additional options

• Pre-conference trainings. On Sunday a number of trainings on diverse topics will take place at the conference venue. There is one full day training and 4 short trainings. You can find more information on the topics and duration on the trainings page.

• Conference dinner. On Wednesday afternoon participants can join the official conference dinner, which will take place at a different location and will be preceded by a short program and networking opportunities. Participants can choose between two dinner locations, with different program and menu. More information can be found at the Conference dinner page. 

• Excursions. On Friday we organize several excursions in the surrounding area, highlighting local landscapes and initiatives relevant to the conference topic. Find out more about the different options at the Excursions page. You can add an excursion to your existing registration.

• CO2 Compensation credit. You can add one or more CO2 compensation credits to your registration. We will donate the collected amount to a local restoration project.
