Day 4: Friday 12 October 2018
08:00-18:00 Field Trips
Two field trips are organized. All trips relate to the conference theme "Communicating and Engaging Ecosystem Services in Policy and Practice in Asia". It will provide unique opportunities to experience diverse Indian ecosystems. To participate in an excursion pre-registration is mandatory.
- Rajaji National Park – Ganga River (10 hour trip)
Highlights: Shivalik/Sub-Himalaya ecosystem, Ganga River
- Benog Wildlife Sanctuary – Mussoorie (10 hour trip)
Highlights: Birdwatching, Shiwalik range
To bring along on the field trip
- Camera, Personal medicines, Diary or small notebook, Water bottle (in addition to the water provided), A copy of your passport, sun protection, walking shoes, mosquito repellent
