Sustainability

Conferences are notoriously unsustainable. We have attempted to minimise our conference footprint by:

• providing conference participants the opportunity to partake in a CO2 offset programme. 
• making abstracts and support documents available digitally and offering free wifi across the conference premises;
• keeping the program booklet as thin as possible;
• providing a vegetarian meal option as the default option;
• not providing conference packs and bags.Pens and paper are available at reception on demand;
• choosing a location that can be easily reached by public transport, with all accommodations and activities in walking distance;
• keeping presents to speakers at a minimum;
• the badges and lanyards are re-used from a previous event.
